Adam and Carly didn’t exactly plan to become dog trainers - it just kind of happened the way all the best stories do: a mix of passion, a couple of dogs with big feelings, and a whole lot of learning, like, SO much learning.

For Adam, it started eight years ago when he brought home Nala, a Rottweiler with a reputation to live up to. Determined to give her the best shot at breaking the stigma, he dove headfirst into training. What began as a few workshops and online courses quickly snowballed into certifications, seminars, and mentorship under some of the best in the field. With a background in criminal justice and programs ranging from Primal Canine to NePoPo Gold School to Duke University’s Canine Emotion & Cognition, Adam built a toolbox that’s as serious as it is effective.

Carly, meanwhile, has been the ultimate sidekick turned full-blown business partner. While finishing her degree in criminal justice (with a side of psychology), she tagged along to Adam’s client sessions, seminars, and late-night study sessions. Animals have always been her thing, she was the kid bringing home every stray in the neighborhood (yes, even a turtle once). But the real turning point came when her mom’s Husky started showing serious behavioral issues. Rather than watch her be rehomed, Carly drove across states to bring her back and put training to the test. Today that same Husky is her go-to demo dog, the kind she can take anywhere, anytime, without worry.
